Our Better World Mortgage™ socially responsible mortgage brokers promise to give 10% of their commissions to the referred mortgage customer’s favorite charity. Our program works for any federally recognized 502(c)(3) charity and for everyone. It does not matter what your favorite charity is - natural disaster relief, environmental protection, medical research, historic preservation, social outreach, protection of children - our brokers will donate to the charity that you choose!
How Our Program Works
Our program works like this:
1. Charities, businesses, realtors and friends refer mortgage customers to our website.
2. Borrowers complete our secure, two minute Quickie Application with some basic information.
3. We direct one of our Better World Mortgage™ socially responsible brokers to contact the borrower.
4. We then email the borrower with their Better World Mortgage™ broker’s full contact information.
5. At closing, your Better World Mortgage™ broker writes a check to the designated charity.
6. Next, the broker emails us to tell us the name of the charity and the amount of the donation.
7. Better World Mortgage™ follows up with the mortgage customer to ensure quality and service.
8. Better World Mortgage™also follows up with the charity to ensure the donation has been received.
