The Oregon Humane Society seeks to foster an environment of respect, responsibility, and compassion for all animals through education, legislation, and leadership. For 140 years, the Oregon Humane Society has worked to educate people about the plight animals, to reduce animal suffering, and to protect animals from abuse, neglect, and cruelty.
As a non-profit, the Oregon Humane Society serves over 11,500 animals each year through animal shelters, vertinary services, spay an neuter programs, pet adoption programs, animal protection and much, much more. Because they are a non-profit, the Oregon Humane Society depends upon the generous donations from people like you in order to maintain the facilities and programs staffed and enabled by over 100 employees and more than 1,000 volunteers.
